Kanu Magazine´s best images of 2012
Steve Rogers you have done it again!! Epic shot of BC´s famous 50/50 falls on the Ashlu River.
¨This one got in Kanu magazine's best of 2012 images. It was a shot that was a longtime in the making. I had noticed over time that a huge rainbow forms first thing in the morning at 50/50 and the fall receives a thin strip of light for maybe 20-30mins. Anyway I got up early for a change, headed up the Ashlu with Ric Moxon and Sam Ricketts and rapped down the canyon wall to get a perfect display of the rainbow in front of me. One of Steve Rogers shots of Death 40 falls from this season 15 minutes from Whistler B.C. This shot ended up in Barny and Jordy´s Gradient and Water- 2012 Whitewater Calender. Check out February!
